Auburn football's head coach Alex Golesh feels the Tigers need to continue to incorporate Bryce Cain more in the future.
Cain was on the receiving end on one of the Tigers' most explosive pass plays in Auburn's 17-16 win over Baylor when he received the football on a reverse and exploded for 25 yards. He also showed great effort on punt team as a gunner.
Golesh highlighted Cain on Monday.
"We got to find ways for Bryce to have success," Golesh said. "He did a really good job for us on special teams. Certainly, that play was explosive. He's got a skill set that's dynamic. He can roll. And we'll continue to evolve his role as it goes. He's earned the right to play, and we're certainly continuing to find ways to make that happen. I'm proud of him, and we will continue to plug with him. It wasn't necessarily the game. He's earned that right as we've gone. That's why we've kind of moved him around to try to find opportunities for him to get on the field. And I give him a lot of credit. He's accepted his role as it was last week. And he continues to strive to create a bigger one for himself."
Cain has an opportunity to be a swiss-army knife for the Tigers.
