It was yet another slow start on offense for Auburn against Vanderbilt on Saturday.
The Tigers opened the game with a three and out. Auburn's second drive ended with a Byrum Brown interception off a tipped pass. The Tigers were finally able to get the ball moving on its third drive after Auburn picked up their first first-down of the game.
Auburn's third drive ended in a 33-yard pass from Brown to Chase Nimrod for six.
Brown was asked what went into the slow start after the game.
“Lack of execution within the little details, and whether it's one person, because offense takes all 11 people,' Brown said. "So, one person could be off and it throws the whole thing off. That's really it.”
The quarterback listed starting fast among several things the Tigers' offense has to get better at after the game.
“Starting fast and playing all four quarters," Brown said while discussing what Auburn needs to clean up. "Executing the little details and all of that. Everything that encompasses being an elite offense.”
Auburn will return to practice this week to continue to get better as an offense ahead of hitting the road to take on Tennessee.
