Sam Sollie is set to announce a very important decision this month.
Sollie is a 2028 quarterback prospect, and he attends Gadsden City High School in Alabama. His offer list includes offers from some of the top college football programs in the country. He will choose between five of those schools in a week.
"My top five right now are Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Mississippi State, and Florida," Sollie said. "I'm going to be narrowing them down and committing August 8th."
The talented quarterback plans to weigh several different factors when he makes his decision. It is one he knows will be a hard one, based on his relationship with each school.
"I think coaching staff, campuses, just the teams in general, I love all of them," Sollie said.
Both in-state programs have shown Sollie love in the past. Alabama and Auburn both earned spots among his finalists.
“I think they (Alabama) produce great quarterbacks and a lot of quarterbacks that I know," Sollie told Touchdown Alabama. "I can’t remember the last one that didn’t go to the NFL draft. They produce great quarterbacks. I love coach (Bryan) Ellis, coach (Kalen) DeBoer.”
The Tigers have managed to build a great relationship with Sollie.
"I love Auburn," Sollie told Touchdown Auburn. "Love the coaches, love the facilities. I'm a big relationship guy, so relationships really matter to me, and they're all recruiting me hard, and I'll be blessed to play at any of these colleges that recruited me."
Several schools will be awaiting Sollie's decision.
