Auburn and Tennessee are set to go at in a SEC Matchup Saturday in Knoxville. Kickoff for the game is set for 2:30 p.m. CT, and the game will be broadcast on ESPN.

Here are five Vols to know ahead of the Tigers traveling to face Tennessee:

Faizon Brandon

Brandon has shown why he deserves to start as a freshman through four games for the Vols. He has done a great job of protecting the football this season. He has thrown for 697 yards and seven touchdowns while not throwing interception as a starter. He has also rushed for 139 yards and three touchdowns. Alex Golesh describes him as a player who can do 'big' damage.

"Offensively, freshman quarterback, he's going into his fifth game," Golesh said. "He's had some really, really bright moments. Obviouslybig-time, Uber talented. I feel like I am echoing last week, arm talent is real from everything you see, makes the right reads, highly intelligent, gets rid of the ball quick. He can do really big time damage with his feet. Really powerful runner, really strong runner. He's pulled it down. It'll be a big challenge for our defense to make sure that we're able to contain them and be able to stop what these guys are doing."

Mike Matthews

Matthews is showing signs that he can be a No. 1 wide receiver this fall. He leads the Vols in receiving through four games with 261 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 14 receptions. Matthews managed to pull in 53 receptions for 813 yards and four touchdowns as the third option behind Baylon Staley and Chris Brazzell last season. With Brazzell off to the NFL, Matthews has taken full advantage of more targets this fall. The 6-foot-1, 200-pounder is an athletic playmaker.

Desean Bishop

Bishop is off to a running start this season with 320 rushing yards and four touchdowns after going from walk-on to a 1,000-yard rusher in the SEC last season. The 5-foot-10, 210-pounder rushed for more than 100 yards three times in 2025 including against Alabama. The back has the skill set needed to be a big-play back with the great balance and toughness he runs with.

Arion Carter

Carter is the Vols' leading tackler and another one of the athletic linebackers at 6-foot-1 and 238 pounds that continue to personify the change at the position. Carter is one of the most productive second-level defenders in the SEC with 27 total tackles, 2,5 tackles for loss and one sack in three games of action after being suspended for a game to start the season.

Mariyon Dye

The 6-foot-5, 270-pounder is a disruptive upfront for the Vols with the ability to turn speed into power. He is productive against both the pass and run. The defensive lineman has seven tackles, five tackles for loss, four sacks and one quarterback hurry through four games. Dye's skill set will make him a challenge to block one-on-one throughout Saturday's game.
